The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel partnered with the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight and Jonathan Lucroy (of the Milwaukee Brewers) to create an essay contest to honor Wisconsin veterans and show appreciation for our freedom. Because of Jorgensen's participation in the Defining Freedom essay competition, the 2016 Defining Freedom Assembly occurred at Arrowhead Union High School on Monday, May 2.
